This project transformed the Chamerstrasse with custom "Shooting star" designed in the iconic blue and white of Zug. Inspired by wishes and best symbols for positve feelings, for the end of the year and Xmas Time. we chose a shooting star. The idea was to use the street light infrasture as part of our shooting star. (The head of our star) The Engineering Challenge Faced with a high-pressure deadline and complex roadside logistics, our team bypassed the prototyping phase. We moved directly to final installation after rigorous wind and static testing to ensure the safety of the bespoke designs over the busy thoroughfare. Agility & Optimization While the initial "Zug Blue" was a big visual impact, we proactively responded to community feedback regarding light intensity. Within two weeks, we adjusted the configuration to a secondary light source. Looking forward, since we are currently developing a next-generation light source for the coming year to ensure our "Shooting Stars" shine with the perfect balance of brilliance and comfort for the residents of Zug.
For the 2025 holiday season, PGS Light brought a touch of magic to the end of Alpenstrasse. Positioned between Chamerstrasse and Vorstadt, this installation breathed life into five trees representing Zug’s traditional trades (Zünfte).
The Vision: To create a dynamic environment where natural light and wind-driven spirals generated an ever-changing tapestry of reflections.
The Result: A space of wonder that offered locals and visitors a moment of serenity and joy. Working in an open urban environment presented unique challenges, providing us with invaluable insights for future iterations. We are grateful to everyone who experienced the installation and hope to bring an even more refined version to the lakeside next year.
In public spaces, lighting is fundamental to urban safety. Well-executed lighting design prevents accidents, deters crime, and significantly improves the sense of security in our streets and squares. Beyond functionality, it enhances architectural beauty and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Our project at Unterführung Gubelstrasse transformed a challenging urban space. Despite strictly limited placement options, we adhered to stringent street lighting norms while elevating the aesthetics. The everyday setting features a high-quality warm white light. However, during the Christmas season, the underpass undergoes a daily transformation from sunset to sunrise. If you visit at dusk during the holidays, you can witness a subtle, one-minute transition where the indirect light sources shift into a magical world of color—a small, poetic moment for the city. This project is a result of meticulous detail, a visionary client, and great teamwork.
A comprehensive lighting concept was developed to enhance the revitalized infrastructure connecting the main railway station and adjacent streets. Driven by the question of optimal illumination, the design strategically distributes light according to street lighting standards. The "Portals" has a reference to the Torii Gates in Japan, that connect the main Station with the lake. (Earth - Water) it concept intentionally conceived as a subtle and complementary element to James Turrell's installation within the station, fostering a harmonious interplay between light and art. This was achieved through the careful selection of lens optics and thorough lighting calculations. Furthermore, the design language of the luminaires draws inspiration from the natural environment, subtly echoing plant elements in their form, creating a visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The landscape design was envisioned by Bbz Landscape architects, with lighting concept development till execution planning led by Paula (at that time working for mati AG), and the final implementation carried out by WWZ
The intention of this project was to create a relation with accents on the clinic changing the character of flatt lighiting.
On the waiting area, we implemented an RGBW system that can be changing according to the yearly seasons. On the hall connecting the treatment rooms, we added the perfect lighting to make the tapestry active and visible.

Good lighing in a training place is fundamental. Lighting can support not only the way a space look, but also helps to activate our body while we do sports. The idea of the additional lighting design concept, was to acentuate the character of the japanese culture on the space on the reception area. For that, we designed and produced a special handmade casing adding soft accents with indirect lighting. The implementation of LED Retrofits, was in order to improve the life spam and energy usage and finally we suggested extra lighting on the second training room, to increase the lighting levels.
Through the use of lighting technologies, as an artist we create immersive environments that challenge the traditional perception of space and light. Light installations can take various forms, from projections and shadow plays to three-dimensional structures that interact with the environment.
The introducion of new lighting technology to old buildings or residences is always a challenge. Is there where we use our expertise to increase comfort and a special lighting atmosphere to the spaces.
Developing the lighting design for a home is important for several fundamental reasons. Firstly, the right lighting can significantly improve the ambience and functionality of a home.
Developing a special tailored luminaire means creating a light fixture specifically designed to meet unique requirements, where form genuinely follows function. Our process begins by understanding the precise lighting need – where and what kind of light is required – and building the luminaire's design and technology around that core purpose.
