PGS is a lighting design studio founded by Paula Galarce Schröder in 2022. The company's name also relates to Pegasus (PGS), a symbol of strength and creativity.

We handle projects of all sizes, from simple consultations to complete projects from concept phase till implementation. We also offer inspections of realised objects and provide second opinions in order to optimized existing lighting concepts for artificial and / or natural light.

Our guiding principle is that we work for you and with you, tailoring our expertise to your needs. When projects demands it, we bring in a qualified team of professionals to meet all requirements.

PAULA GALARCE SCHRÖDER, dipl. Arch UVM / Lighting designer SLGWith studies and working experience in graphic-, Interior-, lighting design and Architecture, Paula has built a strong set of tools, skills and an eye to approach the light, space, materials and architecture.After 4 years working as an architect in Zurich, she decided to make a new step into a medium that always caught her attention “light”. Absolving the certificate of advance studies (CAS) in lighting design at the University of applied sciences in Winterthur (ZHAW). Her practice as a junior lighting designer started in the year 2008 at the studio mati AG for 13 years.During this time she had the opportunity to work and to be project manager of many different areas as, mayor office buildings, educational institutions as schools and kindergarten, churches, municipality buildings, Restaurants, Bars, luxus private houses, Wellness, Retail, outdoor public and private spaces, museums and hospitality.As a young person she had the opportunity to live and work in cities like Tokyo (internship 3 years in graphic design) and London (2 years interior designer). and now with more than 20 years based in Zurich, which makes her not a country person, but a citizen of the world.She is very aware of environmental issues, trying in her outdoor projects to produce a minimal impact on nature. Paula is Swiss and Chilean, speaks 7 languages, including, Spanish, English, German, Japanese among others.

For 25 years, Mabel has been dedicated to the world of art, graphic design, photography and audiovisual recording professionally. Her innate ability for creativity and art has been highlighted from an early age. With a versatile career that ranges from event setting to social media management for companies.

Her first foray was into the cultural field, where she collaborated in cultural festivals, theater, dance and music companies, contributing my talent and professionalism to cultural dissemination.

In 2013, she founded her professional business services company, which continues to operate today. She offers a wide range of services including graphic design, advertising, photography and printing. Her focus is on providing creative and effective solutions that meet the specific needs of each client, generating innovative and cutting-edge solutions.
